How To Add Live Q&A To Your Blog:
Typepad now offers a simple way for you and your visitors to ask and answer real-time questions from the convenience of your blog. By adding a small module (in the form of a Typelist) to your Typepad blog, you and your audience can start engaging in real-time Q&A right now!
The Live Q&A module (shown to the right) fits easily into any Typepad blog and has two key components: a streaming question ticker and a small ask-box. The streaming question ticker shows you and your visitors what other people are asking in real-time! You and your visitors can simply click on questions as they scroll by to answer them by instant message, email or web-post. The counterpart ask-box gives you and your visitors the opportunity to jump in and ask new questions that will appear on the streaming question ticker for others to see and respond to. Adding Wondir’s Live Q&A module to your blog is simple, easy and takes less than five minutes! The step-by-step instructions and examples below will walk you through the entire process.

1. Create a new TypeList. Make it type "Link" and give it a name (e.g., "Wondir Ticker").
2. Create a new item, with no title and no URL. In the note section add the following code:

3. Next click the "Configure" tab on your search TypeList and under advanced configuration, change the Display Notes option to "As text" and click Save Changes.
4. To display the Wondir Ticker in a TypeList in your weblog, edit the Content section of the template set assigned to that weblog. You'll see the names of the TypeLists you have created; check the box next to the lists you wish to include (Wondir Ticker), then press Save Changes. Your list will appear in the sidebar of your weblog.
5. If you would like to change the Category view on your ticker, click here and follow the instructions.
You've done it! Now you have your own question box and ticker that will give you and your audience the opportunity to ask and answer questions about your shared interests in real-time.
